Hi all,
I will visit Curaçao next May and was wondering if anyone has been there for nature photography purposes. If so, what were the highlights of your trip and what things should I definitely visit? I'd be most interested in landscapes and birds...I really hope the birds are more approachable than they are here in Western Europe
All the best!

Hi Jasper,
I lived for 1/2 year on Curacao and there are some interesting subjects to photograph. Especially for birds I think it's an interesting island. There is also a place where a woman lives, if se is still there because I lived there in 1990, who's feeding the birds. It's in the bush so a good place to photograph. Check also the mangrove by canoe. Also a special place for birds. There is also a small nature guide of the Dutch Antilles (in Dutch) check the bookstore. If you have more questions let me know.
