I currently use an Epson 1280 for my printing. For black and white, I absolutely love to use the MIS UT-2 inks. However, I am starting to do more color printing and was thinking of using the Pantone inks. Does anyone have any experience using this ink and, if so, what are your thoughts on it?

I use these inks exclusively. They are very reliable and cheaper than the Epson inks. Plus they give you the archival properties of the pigment inks.
They are perfect paired up with Moab Paper.

Jim - what printer are you using them in? Any problems are clogging, etc? My R2400 is still pretty new, so I won't be trying anything until the warranty expires but I'm always open to a cheaper price if the quality is still there.
I have a 1280. I don't like to spend money on the latest and greatest. The pigment Pantone inks do not clog for me. I have let them set for months without problem.
Thank you! It looks like I will be converting to it sooner than I thought, the low ink light just came on. The ads all say that the color cartridge is a 3 ink cartridge, does it have more ink and therefore lasts longer?

If you are inquiring about the Pantone, it has the same amount of ink just it is priced cheaper.
I buy the ink from here:
