I was thinking of driving down to the Sand Dunes for the hanging on the 16th.
Where exactly are the pictures going to be displayed?
I was also thinking of heading down early to look for some wildlife. Since it has been awhile since I have been down there, anyone have any good suggestion?
Thanks.

The new Visitor Center has a wall just as you walk in the door for photo exhibits. It's pretty hard to miss. (Adam has a couple of shots of the photo "wall" in the GSD contest thread, I think...)
If you're just looking for deer, the road on the way into the park has an extensive collection :). If you're looking for Bison, I understand the Nature Conservancy has moved them into "their" section of the Baca Ranch directly West of the park; they offer viewing rides on Saturdays at 10:30am - see the NPS website at http://www.nps.gov/grsa for details (and to see if they're still running in mid-September...)

Dan,
Sorry I missed this post, life has been hectic. Here is a link to a previous topic with pictures of the display area and panels.
