Water Vole Running
Still working on Water Voles which I think I will do all year on and off as they are such good fun. Again I was following this guy as it was making its way along the edge, when I was looking on the screen on the camera I didn't notice this image, when I looked back home I was pleased as you don't see many action shots of them.

Canon EOS 1D MkII, 500mm Lens, 1/250, F4, ISO Rating 200.

Hi Danny,

Lovely shot of something I would like to try my hand at maybe in the winter. The brickwork frames the vole very nicely and the portrait format makes this shot ideal for a front page.

Regards Chris.

Amazing shot of a very shy creature.

Its just a shame about the off focus part on his reflection.

Other than that

I wouldnt have known it was running had you not said as it took ages to spot the blurry leg,The reflection makes it and a very nice project to work on :toast:

Great pic Danny, the back ground of the stone works really well.

Actually saw my first Water Vole in the wild yesterday and got my first pic, unfortunately the light was too poor but at least I now have a location to revisit.

Very nice again Danny. Magic reflection.
I can remember when you walked along a dyke side and these things were plopping in the water every few seconds. Alas no more.

The reflection is almost as clear as the real vole Danny  and I like the way it is framed

Nice one Danny. I was there at the weekend while checking the other site I mentioned but it's not as good. Waiting for some chest waders to arrive then I'll be joining you
