Another humble attempt at Hoh Rainforest photography. Liked the visual opening this small creek created in the rainforest.
The diffused light of the cloudy sky cast reflections of the mossy trees and illuminated the small rapids in the foreground water.

What Rick said. And I don't know how 56 other viewers didn't feel like commenting on this beauty. Absolutely wonderful!

I'll have to echo Rick's and Marc's comments. The foreground ferns really sets this apart.

Thanks for the comments. Luckily it wasn't too windy that day, since it sure can get dark under the canopy of mossy tress there.

A tiny cavil---my eye keeps getting drawn to the UR corner,, where something----a fallen tree?---pulls me in because it's a little spot of (almost) red in all the green. Lovely work though, and this is such a minor nit to pick.....

Yeah, Harald, you've done real well with a hard shot to find and capture. This is a classic.

Very nice indeed Harald!! You are a film holdout & Pentax shooter & I congratulate you for it!! All of us with these whizbang digital cameras need to remember that in the end it all boils down to the person behind the tools - not the tools themselves eh?? Please do note that I am a proud owner of a Canon 1D Mark II so I FULLY fluent in "whizbang"!!!
