Furness Owl centre has been broken into and the 2 only breeding African Marsh Owls killed, butchered and their heads put on sticks!

WHAT IS THIS COUNTRY COMING TO?!

That's disgusting, I hate people who abuse animals in any way whatsoever, and what for? There is no point to it at all, nothing to be achieved.

I hope they catch whoever did it (though unlikely I suspect), it won't bring back those poor birds but if they get caught, at least they can be punished, named and shamed.

The UK has gone to the dogs and thats why i left it a couple of years ago and will do anything not to come back on a perminant basis,I visit a couple of times a year and cant believe the difference each time i return and not for the good

Discipline is another word rarely used in the UK these days-The kids in France and Switzerland are S!!t scared of the police were as in the UK they are a form of amusement

Something needs to done to restore balance, I'm all for stocks and public floggings, but they were talking of orange suits for offenders which I thought was a more realistic and good idea.

Look at the thing in the news, a guy on a motor cycle rode down a police woman while she was arresting someone... the guy responcible had a string of offences including riding a push bike into a police officer.

It just seems so weird to me... i'm not that old, yet i'd treat a police officer with a great deal of respect... the fire survice too have had missiles thrown at them while attending fires, and even booby traps!

It just makes want to get these people and inflict the same upon them!
