Wow, I 've been busy and haven't been able to post on here in a little while. Hopefully that will all change soon. In the mean time here's a shot from this morning. I woke up and noticed some nice foggy conditions and decided to go take a look at a local trail/park area about 3 minutes from my house.
Shot this with the 5D and a 100 macro at f2.8, iso 100, 1/320th sec.
I'll definitely be going back to this place as its usually always sitting in fog with lots of photo ops.
Critique away please!

Love the comp/DOF Erik, but the upper portion of the BG is too bright for my eyes to be able to focus on the subject.

I wondered about that too Cuirtis. I had actually brightened this up a bit. Maybe I went too far.

Eric,
That area may be just a little bright but I think it works fine as is. The image does have a nice 3d effect. I'd say it's a keeper.

Eric,
It has been kind of slow around here lately. I think we are in the doldrums of summer. Things will start to pick up when the fall colors start.
