Hello. Currently I am working in Joplin, MO. I happen to have a day off and I would like to get some advise from all of you to see where I can go for some scenic photography in northwest Arkansas. I am a hiker also so I don't mind the hike at all. One thing though, I only have one day off so it would have to be a day trip. Where would you recommend? I'll be shooting both film and digital. Thank you very much in advance.
Just curious, would anyone have an photos that they've taken of the Ozarks in that region (northwest Arkansas) around this time (Aug/Sept.)?
Chun, Find Ponca on an Arkansas map and go there. You'll be at the center of where many of the Arkansas based guys orbit. Devils Den south of Fayetteville is also well worth a day trip and quicker to get to. Mainly you need to get South of a Harrison to Fayetteville line. For photos check out Mr. Ernst's Cloudland.net journal.
BTW where are you at in Joplin? I'm on the South side near Wildcat Park.
Great, thank you.
I am actually working on the show called Trick my Truck, I am one of the camera operators on the show. I live on Range Line but work at 4 State......
Cool, I'll check out those places. Would you have any photos of that region? Thank you once again.
Actually now I think of it, where or which trail(s) would you recommend going to? I don't mind waking up early to try hit first light. I like river/streams/waterfalls also.....
