So I thought I might be first with the ubiquitous Robin image.
I'm still experimenting with polarisers on the long lens, and the garden is the easiest place to reach. I like the richer colours from the polarised shots. This one was on a perch I put in a sunlit spot amongst the trees, thus giving dappled light.
1D2, 500IS USM, 1.4tc, 1/50 @ F5.6, ISO 320, Wimberley, slight crop, colours as taken.USM and neat image.
Critique welcomed.
Best wishes

Nice Robin - The only thing bugging me is the eye. It looks a little soft (to me).

Ideal Robin shot, in my book.

Nearly all the birds round here are ringed + they were ringed in the nest boxes too... it is getting hard to find a bird without.
Nice image Phil, the perch looks much more natural these being quite often ground feeders.
