1st Time to Mt. Rainer
2 things I learned about this trip.....never enter without a set of NDG filters (which I do not own but will soon) and make sure you have lots of time...

this was pretty much a day trip for me so I did not get to see as much as I would have liked to..also....I thought Paradise was a town..with shops and things like that...I was quite dissapointed when all I found was a visitor center..... but I am in love with the area now and can't wait to get back up there for more opps in the early morn or late eve....

heres one from today....a very simple one....

Christine falls!

Darren,
A beautiful shot But I think It may be oversharpened a bit. IMHO of course.(the shot of the mountain)

Great shots, Darren. I really love the red color in the rocks near the water on the Christine Falls shot. Did you hike any farther up the trail? There is another big falls, Comet, and some great river/meadow areas near Van Trump Park. I did it in early July before there were very many flowers.

James....

No, this was pretty much a driving around day trip for me...I did not really know what to expect so I used this for a learning experience. Next time I go I will do some hiking and camping. its pretty amazing up there now with all the wildflowers....
