I am posting this topic just because I am looking for a wide angle solution for my digital camera.
I have a nikon D100 with a nikon 28-105 D-IF. The lens becomes about a 42-158mm focal lenght, because of the 1.5x digital factor. So, I loss the wide angle.
What do you think about a 0.45x wide angle conversion lens?
Bad quality? Aberration? Huge distortion?
THANK YOU FOR ANY SUGGESTION!!!
Hi Luigi,
I've never heard about a wide-angle converter for a SLR camera...I know that there are WA converters for digicams, but they gives quite poor quality.

Hello! Well, I bought a 0.42x super wide angle/panoramic/macro converter for my lens just to play around with. It cost me $35. I haven't had a chance to do any pictures with it yet but I hope to soon. I tried it on the front of my lens and it does have the affect of a fish eye at the widest and goes down from there. This is a link the exact one I bought from this guy on ebay:
Check it out and I will let you know how the pictures turn out if I ever get the chance to use it.
