Hello there I am from the Pacific Northwest Forum and I am flying in to the Aspens at the end of the month. I know it is hard to say but does anyone know whether the 28th of Sept. will be too late this year for the San Juan Mtns and surrounding areas as I am flying from Wa. State and have already booked my flight. I have heard that the fall is going to be super early this year and now I am worried I am going to miss it. Also does anyone have a number or place that I can contact to find out more detailed information about fall colors in the Aspens.

Hi Kevin,
Around September 28th is usually just the right time for aspens in Colorado. It varies according to the weather and what part of the state you're in.
