Hi folks, last Friday afternoon Nancy & I went for a hike up to Cripple Creek off of the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River. We parked at the trailhead next to Dingford Creek and crossed the foot bridge across the Middle Fork there.

It was here at the end of our hike that I got this image. I was standing up on the foot bridge looking down and across at this scene. Since the hand rail of the bridge is more of a "head rail" for most (it's more than chest high for me and I'm 6'-2"...) I was forced to place the camera on the rail to get this image. Kinda spooky at first but thankfully the rail is a quite wide steel thing well able to support my gear...

I don't think this is an "oh my gawd" shot but it's nice just the same. Just prior to this hike I had cleaned my sensor and had set my ISO to 1600 to snap a few frames in my office to verify that I had cleaned it properly. Needless to say I shot more than a few frames on this hike at the ahem SAME ISO setting before noticing my fumbling ways.....sigh. Fortunately this image did not have to suffer that brain fart!!

So lemme know what yall think of this ok??

Rick,
I like the way the creek does that bend. The color of the water is cool too. Nice capture of a beautiful area.
