Anyone have an idea how long the road to Mayflower Gulch is open? Might have a chance to head out there next weekend, but I'll have the family in tow. So, parking at the lot and hiking in won't be an option. If we can drive in, I'll be able to let them wander around while I shoot in the afternoon.

I think it only closes by Ma Nature's dictate. There's no gate that I can think of, and there certainly hasn't been any snow to close it, so head on up!

Thanks. I thought I remembered there being a gate right near the main parking lot, but I could be mistaken.

I was there yesterday and there was no gate at the main parking lot. Just two poles which I guess help one locate it after a big snow.
