I spent a night at Kite Lake a couple of weeks ago. The weather was interesting - light snow when we got to the lake around 9 pm, completely socked in for sunrise, then clearing around 10am. The campsites were all taken by the time that we got there and there were a LOT of cars the next day - word has obviously gotten out that the trails to the peaks are open (legally) again.

Taken a short distance below the outlet of Kite Lake. The flowers were gorgeous. Not Yankee Boy Basin gorgeous, but still remarkable.

Rick, I really like the first image, very unique! Todd's 'mini-clouds' make it all the more striking . I have the 12-24 and not sure I have taken a good picture with it yet, you showed me it was possible

I like the top image as well. I like the clouds just hanging around the top of the oeak.
#1 does it for me - a nice composition with the curve in the stream and ":seamless" ND work.

I like both a lot. The personality in the clouds above Dem is very interesting. On the second one, maybe burn in the foreground rock just a touch. The flowers add spark, and more great clouds.

I like them both equally. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Todd - yep, I agree about the rock; I backed it down quite a bit trying to get it to match the rest of the rocks. Couldn't go much further without it starting to look odd, but agree that that's where it needs to go.
