Here's another image from our Pisco climb in Peru's Cordillera Blanca range.
Mt. Huascaran is Peru's highest peak at an elevation of 22,123'. It has a north(R) and south(L) peak. The south is the tallest and most frequently climbed. It is the centerpiece of Huascaran National Park.
I took this image from a snow bridge on the descent of our climb at about 18,000'. A crevasse provides the lead-in and thin clouds add a frosty effect.

Man, I love the detail in the foreground snow! And you know how much I love mountains peeking through the fog.
