Congrats Mike Moats

I just picked up the Fall 06 issue of Nature Photographer magazine. I like the magazine for it's layout, but what caught my eye was the cover image. The cover image was taken by our own Mike Moats.

Sweet shot, Mike and the image goes extremely well with the cover layout. :toast:

Mike,

I think your work is exceptional. It should be a true inspiration to all. You show that it is possible to obtain outstanding images without traveling to remote places or to the top of a mountain. I think we should all look down more often because sometimes the perfect image is literally right under our feet.

Hey Robert, thanks for the acknowledgement, and thanks to David for posting the cover. I wish they could have gotten the whole image but it had to be cropped at the bottom to fit. I also have an image on the index page of some pine cones. Thanks to all for the nice comments. :wavey:
