I am going to be in the Crested Butte area 9/24 -26, to do the fall color (hopefully) at Kebler Pass. Around 9/27-30 in the Aspen area for same, (and trout fishing).
I am from Michigan, however spend my winters in Colorado skiing and often goimng to Utah for photography and hiking and Mountain biking.
Does anyone have similar plans for this fall? Am I basically on target, as much as you can be, for good color? Any other areas I should look at? Thanks Bruce Scorsone

you're on target for Kebler. I haven't spent time in Aspen in the fall, so I can't say on that one. As Jody pointed out, the sticky thread at the top will give you ideas as well as color updates. Make sure you take a look at the San Juans, too.
