Snowy Plover
I have reposted this as the first image had a red/magenta cast to it,Anyway taken on my trip to Calafornia,These are on the Calafornian Endangered list so please to see these very small birds,Large areas of beach along the coast are cordoned off to try to help these guys breed in peace but that still doesnt stop people walking in the roped off areas,This happened whilst taking this shot spooking the bird off,Very difficult to get near,This is the only sharpish shot i managed as the blinding heat caused a heat shimmer effect on the others

Hello Dave
I think you have made a decent job in difficult conditions, and I like the inclusion of the habitat. It is always interesting to see a new species.
Best wishes

Hi Dave,

I have similar thoughts to Phil on this shot.

Cracking little bird, and a very decent result.

Even with the x2, you seem to have cut through the haze nicely.

nice one
