Photoshop CS2 Inquiry ?

I am curious what people's feedback is on upsampling their images in Camera Raw as most books say it is safe upsample in Camera Raw's Workflow Options down at the bottom from the size pop-up menu. I usually upsize 2 notches. But I was reading an article that says if you do this you must be in 8bit Depth. As anyone done any testing to see if you lose image quality when you upsize strictly in Camera Raw.

Kevin, I'm not sure why you would want to do it in Camera Raw. Interpolation is one of those necessary evils you apply for a specific purpose. I wouldn't want to start off with an interpolated file and potentially lose image information off the bat.
