The first 2006 Autumn meeting is scheduled for Littleton, NH Friday Sept 29th thru Sunday Oct 1st. The lowest cost motel room I have been able to find is:
Econo Lodge
516 Meadow Street
Littleton, NH
(603) 444-5366
There are not many room left as of 9:30 AM Saturday 9/9/06 so if you are going to attend get a room there or another hotel soon!
I will be publishing a list of the specific photo opportunities we will organize the Monday before the weekend. Expect opportunities for fall foliage, landscapes, Streams & Water Falls, and possibly some folks heading up to Pittsberg, NH to look for Moose. These will be lead by someone familiar with these area's to help get you there. We will try and do this both Saturday morning and Sunday morning.
Saturday night we will have out meeting and attendees will have the opportunity to show a sample of what they have been shooting. Remember this is not a critique session but a chance to share you favorite photos's locations, or technique. We can handle either slides (analog) or Digital. I will publish the requirements for digital images to be used in a slide show in the next day or so.
PLEASE let me know if you are going to attend by sending me an email. If you are bringing someone along let me know as I will try to find a resturaunt for saturday noght that will have a room that we can do our slide show's in. The email address to respond to is:
Jim: I just made reservations for Friday and Saturday. Will see you there with bells on. Would love to explore the area with expert guides. Is it okay to bring a photographer not related to NPN? It's a long drive alone.

Jim,
I made reservations for Saturday night. Michelle and I live about an hours drive from there, so we may join you for dinner Friday night to get a heads up on what people are doing Saturday. I would definitely like to go to Pittsburg one day for moose!

I've already registered with Jim and booked a room - thought I'd ask who else is going to find out a little about the group who will be there ahead of time. My friend/neighbor - Carol - will be going up with me. We are still learning and look forward to being around other photographers. I have been primarily taking photos of birds, but I'm dabbling on all other kinds of photography. We live an hour south of Littleton, so we may be able to get up there mid afternoon on Friday. If anyone plans to be there early and wants to start taking pictures on Friday, please let me know! Perhaps Jim has that figured out already....

Jim: I am bring a guest who is an accomplished photographer. He has also made reservations and we will be leaving CT around 8:00 a.m. on Friday, arriving...? probably early afternoon. Look forward to meeting everyone, seeing the sights and hopefully the colors.

Hi Jim,
Carol and I will be up on Friday morning or afternoon. We'd love to get together early - we're only an hour south, so we can arrange whatever...the trees in the swamps are already changing color, so we might actually see a lot of color up there by that weekend.

Hi Jim
I have a room and will be leaving NY Friday morning so I should be getting there in early afternoon. Looking forward to seeing everyone and shooting some NH waterfalls.

Everyone who has a DeLorme New Hampshire Atlas should bring it along for this weekend. It will be helpful for you to mark down anything you find that you like so you can return to it in a different season or next year.
Robert - It will be great to see you again. . . I'll find some good waterfalls for this weekend.

Can't wait to you and others I met in maine a few years ago, it has been a while. Also looking foward to meeting new fellow photographers. My cell number is (518) 755-6257 for anyone that maybe up there early on Friday up for some afternoon shooting. I am hoping to be there by early afternoon, unless something catches my eye on the way.
Hi all!! I wish I could go... Maybe the second one. FYI: The color here is just about peaking already!! Especially at camp where I work. Of course, I am a bit further north than Littleton and hopefully, there'll still be some for you all. Have fun and I'll be thinking of you!
