This photo was taken early yesterday. It had rained the night before and the colors were so vibrant. This is not highly saturated. I took a lot of neat shots similar to this one. Some of the aspens have changed and dropped their leaves as you can see in the picture, but others have not changed at all. I've hiked Boulder Brook twice and both times I slipped and fell on the slippery logs. This time I either broke or bruised a rib. So if you go, be very careful, although I do think God blessed me with a case of clumsiness.

I was hoping to get up to Boulder Brook yesterday. It looks like you beat me to it. I like the aspen on the moss in your photo. I may have to get up there this week.

Where exactly is Boulder Brook?

Paul, it's a secret. Shhhh! Actually, it is located just off the Storm Pass trailhead on the road to Bear Lake. It is one of the most lush areas of RMNP with a beautiful stream cascading through the mossy hillside. Now, since I've shared this secret favorite of mine, you have to let me use any decent photos you get of the area.

Thanks, Eric, I like your deal . After seeing your prints last weekend and the awesome shot at Bear Lake, my guess is you will find little use for my stuff .
I may be up in the Park next weekend, hobbling around!
