Hello Brian
Your timing is spot on, there will be plenty of activity. Your best bet is to head for the Newtown Linford car park and walk along the side of the small river, you will reach an open bit looking over the old ruins, this can be a good area. If not keep walking and you will see a small bridge, the open bit over the bridge can be excellent first thing in the morning. The whole park is fantastic for both fallow and red deer so it would be worth exploring if you have got the time. The Deer are hit and miss with some being aproachable and others just won't tolerate a close encounter. Best of luck and I might see you there.
