I have gotten stuck on Ortonizing images lately. Here is another one. Comments welcome and thanks for looking!

Beautiful comp David, and a good choice for Ortonizing. I like the contrast between the ground cover and bluff, and the fallen leaves really give it an autumn feel. Great image - thanks for sharing!

Hi David,
Interesting image. I am curious about the ground cover. I don't recognize it. Do you know what it is? I am hoping that it is not Cogon grass, an exotic that is rapidly invading wooded areas and smothering out natives. It is certainly dominant in this image...
Best,
Don

Don,
No I don't know what the ground cover is but I can tell you whrer it's at and that may help. This was taken in April (I think) downtown Eureka Springs. Do you know were the ampitheater is right next to the Basin Park Hotel. My guess is it's an improted ground cover rather than a native. Hope this helps.

David, I am not familiar with that site but the next time that I am in the area, I will be sure to bring my backpack sprayer and some herbicide and do some clean-up work.
Best,
Don
