Up popped the.......
SD10, Sigma 300-800 @ 800mm.
F5.6, 1/400s, ISO 200.
I've put a little work into the log pile at the Feeding Station
this week and was down there this morning. I was sitting behind some skrim netting as I'm trying to get the GS Woodies used to seing me as I don't like using the hide if I don't have to.
This little guy was in and out of the logs and eventually came round the corner of the skrim and checked me out, before taking off.

Is that a bit of string you're pulling it up with  . Cracking shot, great reactions and like the way its all colour coordinated.

What a great catch Steve :toast:

The alert pose really tops it off.

I think i would maybe clone the grooved area of log, or darken it down a bit, as a finishing touch.

Hi Steve

I agree with previous comments. Great image, just a shame about the grove in the log.

As said shame about the groove.. although I don't always agree with cloning it may well be worth it here, might also crop a shade from the top too.

Love the expression...
