I've seen some color like this developing on the N. Washington coast already, but only along the highway in the open sun, with no shoulder for parking. There is food for thought in this image. The red leaves fully surrounded by greenery as in the lower half could really be dynamite! Won't trouble you with negative comments.

Doyle,
Was this shot recently? The maple's color are sure vibrant. I do have a couple of nits. The bright spot in the upper right is distracting. My eyes are pulled hard to that area. Also, the background on the top half is out of focus. I would rather see this type of image sharp throughout.

Made in 1995, Mt Adams Wilderness Area f11.5 1/30 sec 360mm.
I have to agree that the top is too bright, almost blowen out on the tranny

I like the part of the image with the maple and greenery w/ red berries. The rest is distracting.
