This was a fantastic trip (thanks again Jack)! Here is a sample from this morning. I should be posting some better ones during the week.

Any constructive criticism is appreciated. Thanks.

Very nice Momo, awesome light and beautiful color. It does appear to have a bit of a CW tilt.

I love the color. It looks really early in the AM. Just a couple of questions.
1. Did you use a polarizer?
2. That looks pretty high and cold. Were you guys backpacking, car camping, etc...?
3. Did you see any color changes yet in the San Juans?

Thanks for posting,

Derek

Hi Derek.

1. No polarizer here, because it just darkened the lake too much.
2) We backpacked to this lake at 12700'. We had a snow storm that lasted about 2 hours in the afternoon.
3) The colors are starting to change. Aspens are maybe 10% yellow, but there are patches that are completely turned already, and have some red in them. I will go back in 2 weeks, as I think there will be a lot of color then.

THE FALL IS HERE!!! :jump:

Cool

Thanks Momo. I am really looking foward to seeing some nice fall color soon.

That must have been a *chilly* backback trip.

No nits from me, it's spectacular! And totally different from what Jack posted. Sweet stuff indeed!
