Fantastic tom! I love water voles, very nice shot.

Hello Tom
Excellent capture of the vole, I don't think we have any on this island, maybe we should look at releasing some?
It is probably my old eyes, but I get the feeling the image needs a slight C/W rotation?
Best wishes
Phil

Interesting spherical creature not unlike many of the fairer sex of today. Like the composition, the way its sat looking at an angle looking into the frame.

Hello Tom
Great shot, love the toenails. Nice setting especially to see the whole of the Vole.

Hi Tom
Super shot, great pose and composition. I like the log in the water, a very natural image of this mammal.
cheers

Its around the same site for, as both live within 6 miles of one another, we have the same 'hunting ground'.
It's the same with the Badger images. The Badger site currently being fed is a site that Danny knew ( I know of another which we are not feeding at the moment) so a joint effort in Badger feeding helps take the burden off one person.
That said, because of different personal cirmcumstances, we rarely are on one site at the same time - I can think of one occurance recently, athought I have suspicion that during the rut we are going to be both present at Bradgate at the same times
Thanks Tom. I was just curious.
That sounds like a good idea sharing the preperation/feeding,etc. prior to photography.
As you say, lessens the burden a bit.

Fine habitat shot of the little chap.

An excellent shot of the vole in his surroundings.
Between you and Danny your certainly posting some outstanding images.
Is this the same site/vole as Danny's?
