What we are all waiting for!
This is an image I made several years ago. I think we are all looking forward to the Fall/Winter!

The James Peak area looked a bit white this morning; couldn't tell too much with the clouds hanging over the tops of the peaks, but there was definitely some white in the high mountain crags.

Pike's Peak looks like it got a dusting on Friday night (drove past it Saturday AM), above maybe 12,500-13,000.

Color-wise, the Aspen along the Peak-to-Peak near my home are exhibiting a distinct preference for the Reds and Oranges this year - when they aren't just turning brown and curling up...

Nice image, great color and repeating patterns. Gotta love it when seasons collide.

Is this the area above Maroon Lake by chance?
