I'll be giving a slide show presentation and signing my new book "Colorado's Hidden Wonders" this Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 pm. It will be at the Tattered Cover LoDo (1628 16th Street) on the second floor. I hope some of you can make it. It's free to attend and no obligation to buy anything. I just want some people there other than my parents :frown: .

I'd love to be there, but I'll be on a plane heading home tonight. Good luck - hope it's SRO!

Thanks, guys. I’m sure this will be SRO (Sitting Room Only)

I’ve just picked out the slides for this and will include a lot of shots that didn’t quite make the book but are just as good as the ones in the book. Some of the really little known places I’ll show are:

60 foot high hoodoos on the Western Slope
Several photos of a bizarre landscape in western Colorado, part of which resembles Bryce Canyon and part of which resembles Wheeler Geologic Area
Arches all around the state, not just Rattlesnake Canyon
One of the largest and least-known waterfalls in the state

Some of the places that may be a little more familiar, at least to photographers are:

Canyons of the Ancients National Monument
Chimney Rock Archaeological Area
Ute Mountain Tribal Park
Rattlesnake Canyon
Dinosaur National Monument
Wheeler Geologic Area
Calhan Paint Mines
Pawnee Buttes
Rabbit Valley
Needle Rock
Windy Ridge
Florissant Fossil Beds
Glenwood Caverns
Cave of the Winds

So if you haven’t visited many of these places, I think it could be a good preview. And get there early because the front, center seat will fill up fast!
