Which Canon TS to rent for Pano? 24 or 90mm?

A visit to a local camera shot revealed that they rent both a Canon 24mm and a 90mm tilt shift lens. I've been wanting to try the tilt shift out for sometime for Panos (the 45mm that is). I think I want to rent one for the fall colors. Just don't know which one would be better. Concerned that 24mm would be too wide for pano, but 90mm might just be too tight. Any thoughts?

The 24mm is very wide for panos - about as wide horizontally as a 12mm full frame if you shift all the way left & right.

I own both the 24mm and the 90mm Tilt & Shift. I have used both for stitched panoramas.
Of the 2, I use the 90mm most for panoramas. I have never used the shift feature to make
panoramas.

Brian,

Being that they do not have the 45mm, the best for pano's, get the 90mm. The 24mm is just to wide.

EDIT:
OK, TC I meant 24mmTS.
