I'll update on Golden Gate Canyon: the leaves in the park itself appear to be on for at least a week from now, but there are some gorgeous stands of Aspen along CO-46 and CO-119 right now!

Jennifer,
Things will be fine unless we have a big blow next week. Aspen leaves are pretty fragile once they start turning, but if it's relatively calm all will still be well - I hope. Also, large patches will still be turning around that time.
Looking at the Bells picture from this morning, I'd have to guess that large portions of it will be peaking more towards the beginning of your trip than on the 19th.

Will there be anything left for me 9/23-9/30?
