Hi thanks for picking my Sea eagle I am fair chuffed.
My selection for the last two weeks is Dave Courtenay's Grebe and feather. The picture has great punch with beautiful colours and a very nice BG. The feather for me is the icing on the cake.

How hard can it be to pick one immage!!! I love Danny's watervole shots, John Chapman had another couple of crackers with his gannet and the the sea eagles fighting and Christopher's Hawker in flight was very impressive. But my pick for this fortnight is Anthony's Barnowl for an excellent first post of a beautiful bird.

Man, this is difficult with so many great shots, maybe it should be a weekly occurence... Of my favorites this fortnight Tom's "Knot flocking" and John's "White sea eagle fighting" are disqualified due to the rules! I too like Anthony's Barn Owl and Alans Whitethroat, but my candidate is Johns "Baby Gannet".

Once again quite tricky to pick one from yet another high quality set of images. When I have a quick look back over each 2 week period for the challenge it certainly makes you realise the extremely high standard of photography posted on the forum.
Ok, shots I liked this time around ;
John Chapman, Baby Gannet cute or wot, and technically excellent too.
Chris Wilson - Hawker in flight we have had a few of these this year but this is one of the best
John Chapman, Sea Eagles fighting great capture to get two birds framed perfectly in such a dramatic pose
Danny Chapman - Water Vole swimming - great composition and colour, lovely image
Andrew Forsyth - Cheetah kill (the last one with the blood and guts) a very powerful image, great composition
However my vote goes to Antony House's post of the Barn Owl in flight. A brilliant image, technically spot on, a great composition with good light and a very difficult shot to achieve.
cheers

I agree the shots already mentioned are excellent and all deserve to win, but you have to pick one and my vote goes to Alan Bryant's "The trap is set".

'Relaxed at the Rock' by Vince is a cracking shot IMO.
Micheal - It ain't valid (wrong time slot) can you pick another please?
Any more votes people.

Plenty to chhose from, as usual. Favourites have included Andrew Forsyth's "Kruger Cheetah Kill 2" (the most dynamic of the series IMHO), John Chapman's "White Tailed Eagles fighting" and CHristopher Wilson's "Hawker in Flight." Vote, however, goes to Anthony House's "First Upload" - the finest Barn Owl shot that I have seen for a long time.

"It ain't valid (wrong time slot) can you pick another please?"
Ooops! I was on holiday at the time, so that's my excuse!
In that case...
Vince has got some cracking images, and I particularly like 'Relaxed yet Alert' - hopefully that isn't discounted on the grounds of it being non-captive - he states it has been released back into the wild, so does it count? I'm not stalking Vincent, honest!
If that's classed as captive, 'First Upload' by Anthony House is very good, and I like 'Kruger Cheetah Kill 1' by Andrew Forsyth. 'Water Vole Swimming' by Danny Green gets a mention too.
But my vote is for 'Relaxed yet Alert', and if that is not valid due to being non-captive then I'll choose 'First Upload'.

I sort of feel unworthy to vote All of the shots mentioned so far are excellent and could have easily voted for anyone of them. However, The shot that caught my eye was Phil Hurst's 'Tern', it was just a bit different and it worked well.
