Rick, Eric, and I froze our @$$es off out on Lookout Mtn this past Saturday. Even so, the sunrise put on a great show with several hide and seek times with the fog flowing around us. Some of these moments had the sun shining through giving a great orange/yellow glow. I was lucky to get one shot of it, and I show it here so that you can get a sense of what a great morning it was. These moments were fleeting, lasting only about 30 seconds before going away again.

For those who haven't been there, Lookout Mountain is at 6500 feet and east of Mt Hood. It was blustery cold with snow and ice up there. Note to self: bring a hat and gloves next time.

Yet another great shot from here. I love how the fog holds the light.

Kevin, I second all the above comments...the lighting is perfect and the detail in the trees and rocks on the ground is dead on. This is one of my Faves from you :toast:

Love it Kevin! Great comp and obviously we had some great light to play with up there. Can't wait to see some more.
