The first session of the Sand Dunes exhibit has been hung at the Visitor's Center and it looks great. A BIG thanks to Rick Dunn for taking care of a little problem we had getting one of the prints hung.
Darren and Les, would you mind sharing your pics of the display?
Thanks again to everyone that participated! I think Patrick (the ranger) was very pleased with the exhibit and the quality of the work.
Great job guys! The display looks like it turned out really well!

Looks like a great set of pictures! I'll have to make it down there again and check em out.

The exhibit looks great! Patrick was definitely genuinely impressed. I don't know what he was expecting, but I got the sense that he was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding quality of the images, both artistically, technically and with regards to presentation. I heard a lot of "wow!" and "geez, that's impressive!" as the display was going up.
Kudos to all those who have images hanging! And for those displaying in the spring, the bar has been set high for us!

You're welcome, Dan. I agree that all the images looked awesome, not that I expected anything less than awesome considering the quality of work this groups produces on a regular basis.

Nice exhibit. I'll check it out when I'm down there next week (I assume these are all free and I can take any photos that I like home with me )
Adam - Thanks for coming up with the idea then putting this all together. I am very happy to have one of my images hang in the visitor's center of my favorite place in Colorado.
Big D - Thank you for schlepping my photo down to the Dunes. I regret that I wasn't able to be there personally and I'll be even more disappointed if I hear that you were spotted kicking a beach ball across Medano Creek and I wasn't there to witness it.
Thanks for posting pics and for driving everything down there. Everything looks great! I'm hoping I can make a whirlwind day trip sometime in early November

Here's the crew that showed up for the hanging - Les, Darren, Dan and Adam. Most impressive thing about this photo?... Despite the 0-3 start, Darren is still sporting his CU Buffs hat. That is loyalty!
I hope that folks get a chance over the next few months to check out the display. It's a great 2 for 1 deal - you get to see RMNP's member's work on display at a National Park, and you get to experience one of the very special natural features that exist in our National Park system.

Darren's picture is first up on the wall.
We hung the big pictures first.
The last panel had a lot of glare, so it gets its own picture, too.
And finally, all the panels at once.
And you thought you were left out of our weekend, Grant...
