Garden/Cross Spider
Hi - my first post on the UK section of the forum. Spiders are not my normal subject but there are quite a few around at this time of year and they make for an easy target! This image was the result of an experiment with a 1.7 TC, a stack of extension tubes and a 70-200. Taken in natural light, 1/2sec @ f16, ISO 200.

A cracking shot for your first upload.Impressive sharpness and I like your chosen composition here.
The light and dark markings on the spiders body are particularly striking. :cool:
