Went to a migration hotspot (Falsterbo in southern Sweden) a week ago. We had a record day with 17 different raptors migrating (incl. 3 Lesser Spotted Eagles and 1 Short-toed Eagle). One of the high-lights was this close-flying juvenile Honey Buzzard. The juvenile Buzzards exist in many different colour phases ranging from almost white to entirely blackish-brown.
One of few shots that actually turned out sharp. I used AI Servo on my new 30D, and that just doesn't work well.

Hi Helge,
To me the eye looks a little soft, unless that is the effect of reducing image size for web presentation. That said though, a great flight shot.
Regards Chris.
