Went up to Golden Gate Canyon State Park(CO) this morning and this is what it looked like. Most Aspens have started to turn with a few still green. There are some patches of trees totally bare and some at peak... its sorta a mixed bag in some areas. Overall I'd say we have some time.... But you be the judge  More images here: Recent Fall Images

I checked out some of your shots and noticed Boulder Falls. Have you ever taken fall shots of the stream between their and Boulder. I was thinking of doing that when the Cottonwoods started to change and wonder if you might know of some spots that are nice.

Thanks, Michael. Also a good reminder that there's some great color to be found in some of the less famous (and less crowded!) places.

Snow up at Golden Gate Canyon this morning! Snow blanketed 10,000ft.+, with some snow down to ~9500ft. This left the peaks in Golden Gate Canyon covered in white. I would've stopped to take a picture, but I already had too much to carry around today and left the camera home. :(

The downside: it's a little breezy up there right now. Not bad enough to really remove the leaves in bulk, but enough to at least blow off those that were on their way soon.

Thanks, Michael. Because of your great shots I got up early this morning to get this shot as well. :-) This was a fantastic morning -- no wind at all.. By the way, can anyone tell me which mountain this is? Mt Audubon?
