:biggrin: Mmm, nothing like a pea soup swamp full of tasty tadpoles. Sorry, I couldn't resist editing the colors in this to "enhance" the environment. It's a young night heron catching polliwogs in the Finley NWR near Corvallis, OR.

Canon 300D, 500mm, and some other technical stuff, blah, blah, etc.

This is the first time I've ever seen a young Heron. Pretty darn cool!

Yep, definitely looks like split pea to me.
