RMNP update
Snow at higher elevations. None present at Morain or any meadows. Dry, temp was 45-50 degrees. Wind +15 mph :frown: Elk were around but seem to be staying out of the wind. Lots of photographers and visitors around, parking lots almost full. If there were any elk nearby it was standing room only to get a shot. I estimate that 35-40% of trees have turned. Some small groves are at peak. Probably 2-4 days before they are all hitting peak.

From the Grand Lake side: About 2 inches of snow last night, but it melted away this morning. Mid 30's at noon with some wind, but worth it. Loads of elk and a few moose in the valley last evening, but not too many photographers. The fishing is not bad, either!
