Hi Stewart,
The bigger version definately shows the bird off in all it's glory.
No nits at all really from me other than the image doesn't look as good as I think it could due to colour balance/temperature issue.
I think it's down to the bird having a bit of a colour cast, possibly too much green.
Still a lovely pose and size in the frame, etc.

I love seeing photographs of the Robin. Its a awesome bird.
Good shot of a lovely bird Stewart. There does sem to be a colour cast or something to me also, as Justin said, It would be interesting to see this in a 'portrait' crop also.

Hi Steward
Nice shot & alert pose - agree with Justin I think the bird has probably picked up a slight colour cast as the individual channels in levels look fairly OK .

Thanks again for the good words!! I am wondering if the colour cast you mentionis any thing to do with the fact that the sun was coming from the right hand side, and lighting the bird, and could this be giving the yellow colour, as it was very strong, and thats why I took the shot, as it was like a spot light on the bird.Let me know your thoughts please....

Nicely taken Stewart, and glad you have sorted the problems.
I like the proud stance of the bird, and the overall comp.
