Hi Vince, another georgeous image of this fella, you must have a lot of terrific shots of him now Its a little light on my monitor a bit like the last one but easily rectified, and personally I would prefer just a little croped off the RHS.

Hi Terry, thanks forthe info on how light the image looks on your monitor, what about this one?
The problem I am encountering this end is that I have a new tft monitor & the image looks really good to the eye. On the old box monitor it looks darker & with this ammended images it now looks worse. Would be interested to see what others think of the newer upload?
Kind regards
Vince

As I've said before, it's difficult to put pics on the web as the variations of monitors and setups is vast and it won't look the same for everyone.
This is another superb shot Vince. Your series on the Kestrels is one to be proud of indeed.

I can't spot any difference between the two versions on my TFT. It's an excellent shot, the light on the bird is fantastic.
Hi Vince, the second looks better on my monitor, hope other people comment because I would hate for you to think it needs slightly darkening when the problem is my setup all along ???

Hi Vince
Super shot - love the light. I actually prefer your first post but would have toned down the rock!

Not a big difference between the two, to my eyes Vince, but i think the repost adds a slight saturation to the plumage {which i like}.
Beautifully detailed shot, as usual

The light on this is exquisite (sp?). Beautifully soft. The colour of the rock complements the bird too - with the pose, composition and nice BG, this image is a fair cracker!!!
The space on the right is crying out for some text - this is a very saleable image.
