We are having a fantastic fungi season in southern Scotland; thanks, probably, to a hot dry summer and recent heavy rain. Loads of these 'blushers'under the beech trees and I quite liked the contrast with the bare leaf mulch.

Cheers

I like this shot  .Great composition and the "bare leave mulch" goes really well with the fungi.

My only nit is the blown-out part on the stem of the fungi :frown: .

But this can be helped in PS, by toning down the brightness off that part.

Hi Malcolm,

I agree with Alan regarding the blown areas. I tend to use a diffuser to try and avoid this. Other than that, a great shot.

Nice shot Malcolm - the blown area doesn't really bother me and easily rectified!
