Allways nice to see a Sparrow. The species is in rapid decline here in Holland which is a shame because you can easely relate to this little birds, allways busy and chirping and not the most beautiful bird on the planet. A bit like me I'm afraid
Bird looks a bit soft and the BG a little busy. I don't mind the perch. Nice image as it is though.

Hi Terry
Nice pose, yes the perch is a bit heavy but overall a very nice image!

A nice shot, Terry. My only nit is i's a bit central - maybe a vertical would work well ?

Hi Terry
This is essentially a nice shot and personally, I have aways found spugs to be quite photogenic wee birds. To my eye, all that is needed is a bit of a crop to take the bird off centre and break up the 'symetry' of the two green patches in the background. A closer crop perhaps also makes the perch a tad les intrusive. Hope you don't mind but I've had a quick play about with your image, just to demonstrate.
Cheers

A fine pose from this little chap, and the bg is great {for my preference}.

Terry,
As I said on Phils shot, these guys do get taken for granted but you'd be hard pressed to find fault with an attractive bird like this.
