White Horse Falls again...
Just finished another trip to Upper Rogue and Umpqua Rivers - one of my favorite areas. This is the same time two years ago I visited the area and the weather conditions were exactly the same - except this time the water levels were quite a bit higher. It made for a similar, but completely different image. I was sick practically all the time I was there, but the opportunities could not have been better for both this location and also at Crater Lake. One thing that did disturb me was the fact that behind me workers were installing some new picnic tables, etc, and had cut down a few of the beautiful trees that were growing there. It was almost unrecognizable before I realized that it had changed so much from two years ago. One of the images I captured then included the trees that are now gone, and I am so glad I photographed them before the place had changed, (for the worse in my opinion.) Hope you enjoy the image - I think it is a good compromise between silkiness and a faster capture.

I'll echo the previous comments. The processing and color of the greens are perfect.

I always enjoy seeing the print of your first image of this. I bet this one looks equally beautiful!
