Early snow looks nice and I don't think the green leaves have been too affected by the cold...they looked healthy today. I'll be back Monday since it's supposed to be sunny.
This was from McKee Pond today. Beaver Lake had nice color/snow in the background. Two feet of snow kept people out of Lead King Basin and The Mill. I didn't even try it with my Wrangler and 33" mudders.

Wow, that second shot is amazing. The snow provides a great contrast to that fall color.

Both really nice shots. I think I like the first one better, but it's hard to say. They're both so strong.
I wonder if Crystal Mill is finished for all but the bravest of four-wheelers. Then again, since reports are that the trees behind it are bare, why bother?

both nice, but that second one is really interesting. if it weren't for the dust bunny in the lower right corner, it would be tough to tell if it is a photograph or a painting

Thanks Lars, Todd and Mark. I was in such a hurry that I missed a bunny! Time to clean the sensor again.
I would imagine that most of the snow in the Marble lower area will be gone by tomorrow or late today so the colors around Beaver lake and McKee Pond should be killer.
The mill might be nice if there is snow around it but I don't feel like walking the road to get there. I'll check it out tomorrow and let you know.
