This little grebe was having a good old bath and I took a lot of shots to make sure I had caught the action which was a good job because most of them went to the bin.

A beautifully executed shot. Looks very dynamic with the water spray.

Strange looking little birds at the best of times-a very different image to the norm

Danny, I have been trying the same sort of shot along with the parent Dabchick feeding the little un's recently, but I havnt got one as good as this I am also running out of time for the feeding shots even though 'my' family were very late hatchers, the parents are now trying to get the little un's to feed themselves.

Glad you kept some shots out the bin Danny. This is a well caught bit of action and well worth it.
