Common Buzzard landing!
One from today. I was watching a juvenile Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo) hunting, when it suddenly landed right next to me. It stayed for a while and I got many shots with more classic poses, but somehow I like this with the movement most.

My last posting apparently came out somewhat dark, I'm not so sure about my monitor anymore. Does this one seem right ?

30D + 500/4 + tc1.4; iso 400; f7.1 1/1250, cropped to vertical, from carwindow on beanbag.

Love the inquisitive look on this birds face Helge!!

It certainly adds a lot of life/vitality to the shot.

The brightness looks fine on my screen, and the image is a cracker :toast:

Everything on my monitor looks great. And so does the shot.

I love seeing shot of birds of prey that show that there are checking out the photographer.

Look forward to seeing your other shots of this chap :toast:

Hi Helge

Great image, quite different to most Buzzard poses. I really like it and looks fine on my screen!
