Owl Creek Pass Yesterday
Rene & I went out this weekend. We hit Ohio/Kebler/Owl Creek/Cottonwood/McClure passes(I think that is all of em). Independence was closed today. As I think Cottonwood may be also. East side of Cottonwood was really nice. Kebler was disappointing. We hit some nice stuff on Ohio Pass. McClure on the North Side is coming along nicely and is a little ahead of the south side. Owl Creek pass was excellent yesterday as this picture demonstrates. We had to drive through > 2.5 feet of snow on the top (which was a little scary). But the scenes were like this one I grabbed with the 5D. Hope to have my 4x5 stuff later this week.

Rene hard(ly) at work frantically  getting some more film holders loaded while on Owl Creek Pass.

All we wanted to see was a puff of smoke coming out of the cabin and it would have been a perfect XMas card.

Richie - you don't need two cameras for a panoramic shot!

That first one is awesome.

Wow, I like the last photo best. It looks like winter, but with leaves still on the trees.

I tried driving over Owl Creek pass, but turned around because of too much snow. Amazing!
