Thanks to all that took the time to vote , those that didn't feel free to join in with the next round . So, what was your favourite image of the last two weeks, the 17th Sept to the 30th Sept '06.
Please either vote below (using the title of the posting) or by email to any of the Mod's and please feel free to say why it was your favourite image - what makes it STANDOUT.
Couple of points to remember:
All SELECTED images must adhere to 'Sean's Rule'. i.e. "Only images deemed to have been taken within the last 4 weeks, of a non-captive subject, are to be considered."
N.B. "The Mods" images are not to be considered and you cannot pick the previous winner if the subject in their latest image is of the same species.
Result will be posted on or around the 15th October 06

A couple of shots by Barry really caught my eye this time - the trout and albatross but i think they are both too old to be eligable(?) so my votes going to Vincents 'I wish my wings were bigger'

I liked Phil's Blacktail Godwit group, but Rob Ashton's 'The Stare' gets my vote.
I particularly liked Paul Schroder's Painted Lady & Hummingbord Hawk Moth; Phil's Blacktailed Godwit Group; Shank by Alan Woolnough; and Common Buzzard Landing by Helge Sorensen; but by vote goes to Rob Aston's "Fish Anyone" for the pose, compostion and vibrant colours.
